Nicole Verheyen

Nicole is an IABE Qualified Actuary and accredited Certified Public Accountant. She has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry in various roles in professional services as well as in the business itself. As former EY Audit Partner she did lead the financial and actuarial audit of insurance companies and international insurance groups, active in both life and non-life insurance business, reporting under BEGAAP, IFRS and Solvency II. Besides, she was responsible for the audit of a broad range of pension funds. Next to audit, Nicole built up experience in the insurance sector in diverse roles in the areas of finance, risk, insurance brokerage, employee benefits, and general management. Nicole holds board mandates as independent director at insurance companies and a pension fund. She is also board member at the IABE.
